Tibo’s 28-day challenge
A challenge Tibo (@thsottiaux) started in a public post on X, ; this page tracks the Codex resets recorded so far, day by day. The post is Tibo’s own, and this site is not affiliated with OpenAI or Tibo. His exact words, which are the only source of the rules:
“Over the next 28 days, each day we’ll either ship one thing that is a clear improvement and relevant for most codex/work users or ship a full reset. Let the improvements begin.”
Day 27 of 28
So far, this site has recorded 8 resets and 1 banked reset inside the window. The counts update whenever a new reset is recorded.
Day by day
How this is counted
- Days are America/Los_Angeles (Pacific) calendar days: Day 1 is Oct 5, 2026 and Day 28 is Nov 1. A post made just after midnight UTC can still belong to the previous Pacific day.
- Counts come from the resets this site has recorded from public announcements, so a very recent one may not appear yet. Banked resets are shown separately from regular ones.
- The challenge also mentions shipping an improvement on days without a reset. This site does not track improvements, so a day with no recorded reset is simply marked “No reset recorded”, which says nothing about what else happened that day.
- A reset can be delivered after it is announced; each record page shows the announced and delivered times when known.
