CodexReset tracks officially announced OpenAI Codex usage-limit resets and shows the odds of the next one as published by whenreset.app, the shared forecast source for this family of trackers.

What this site does

Every page here is generated from data, at build time — nothing is typed in by hand. The home page's answer card reflects exactly what's been recorded; the two probability gauges are a statistical estimate, documented in full on /forecast-method/, never a schedule.

Data sources

Recorded reset events: public posts about Codex, checked periodically, each with a source link when available.
Reset history before 2026-09-10: seeded from the public archive at codex-resets.com, whose terms ask for a link back — hence this line.
OpenAI's own status feed for Codex-related components.
GitHub issue activity on openai/codex.

Independence

OpenAI has never promised a reset schedule. Every number here is an estimate from public posts; the original post is the source of truth. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI.
